Slimming Acai Bowl Recipe

Acai berries are considered a superfood due to their high content of vitamins and antioxidants. They also have slimming properties, which is why many people use them in supplements and recipes to assist in their weight loss journey. Try out our homemade acai bowl recipe below:


Serves: 1
Total Time: 10 minutes


1 cup frozen mixed berries (blueberries, raspberries, blackberries)
1 cup whole milk
1 handful spinach
1 tbsp Acai powder (freeze dried, found in many health-food stores)
Optional toppings: 1 kiwi, 1 tbsp pumpkin seeds, low sugar granola, banana slices


1. Blend spinach and milk in a high powered blender about 30 seconds or until greens are well blended.

2. Add frozen berries and acai powder, blend until smooth.

3. Dish into a bowl and top as desired. Eat with a spoon.
