An easy to make and tasty Asian chicken lettuce wrap recipe, suitable as an appetiser, for lunch or dinner or anytime snack!
Total Time: 15 minutes
4 oz chicken breast, chopped into small pieces
½ cup carrot, shredded or diced
½ cup celery
1 can water chestnuts, drained and chopped
3-4 tbsp hoisin sauce
6-8 romaine hearts
½ lime cut into wedges
Chopped green onion to garnish
Chopped cashews to garnish
1. Combine chicken, carrot, celery in a heated skillet. Cook for 5-10 minutes.
2. Once cooked through add chestnuts and hoisin, stir to combine.
3. Spoon into lettuce leaves and garnish with lime juice, chopped scallions, and cashews.
4. Serve immediately.
